order sat at the depot for four days, is it still good

Ordered on the Monday, tracking showed it hit the Joburg depot on Wednesday, and then it sat. Four days. Eventually arrived the following Tuesday. Nobody could tell me why, the tracking said "at facility" the entire time in the way that tracking does. Two vials, both lyophilised, both still sealed and looking fine. One is tirzepatide and one is BPC. So the question is whether four days bouncing around a warehouse in what I assume was not a temperature controlled environment matters. I know the dry powder is more robust than the reconstituted stuff, that has been said here plenty. But four days is longer than the "it was on my doorstep for an afternoon" scenarios people usually ask about. Also curious whether anyone has had luck getting a courier to explain a delay like this, or whether that is something we accept. I am not blaming TMFitness for it, the tracking clearly showed it left them on time.

Four days sealed and dry, in winter, in Gauteng, is not a situation I would worry about. Lyophilised peptide sitting in a sealed vial with the moisture removed is a fairly durable object. The degradation pathways that matter mostly need water present, which is exactly why it is freeze dried in the first place. The scenario that would concern me is a summer delay in a metal container in Durban, or anything where the seal has been compromised so ambient humidity can get in. Neither applies here. When you reconstitute, look at it properly under decent light. Clear solution, no cloudiness, no particles, dissolves within a couple of minutes with gentle swirling. If it does any of the opposite, message us with the batch number and photos. On the courier: send us the waybill. We get further with them than individual customers do, and we track which routes keep doing this.

Durban here and the summer thing is real. I now accept that anything ordered between December and February needs the insulated option and I plan around a longer window. Learned that the hard way with a delivery that arrived warm enough that the box itself was unpleasant to hold.

Slightly different angle. Something I started doing is not letting myself run down to zero before reordering. I keep one spare vial behind so that a depot delay is an annoyance rather than a gap in the middle of a run. Costs a bit more upfront and it has removed a whole category of stress.
